B.B.P.R. was a studio founded by Italian architect Gianluigi Banfi 1910-1945, Lodovico Barbiano di Belgiojoso 1909-2004, Enrico Peressutti 1908-1976 and Ernesto Nathan Rogers 1909-1969 in 1932. The studio endured throughout the rise of fascism, WWII, and the loss of Gianlugi Banfi, who was held in the Mauthausen concentration camp, where he died in 1945. The studio flourished in the 50s and 60s, working on many public and private institutions throughout Italy until the mid 90s.
